1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Trunetto ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Trunetto platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
Important: These Terms contain an arbitration clause and class action waiver that affect your legal rights. Please read the Dispute Resolution section carefully.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the following requirements to use the Platform:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws.
Provide accurate and truthful information.
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing:

You are responsible for:

Homeowner Accounts: Free accounts for individuals seeking smart home services.
Business Accounts: Paid accounts for service professionals and companies.
4. For Homeowners
Free Services
Trunetto is completely free for homeowners. You can post project requests, receive quotes, compare professionals, read reviews, and book appointments at no cost.
Your Responsibilities
As a homeowner, you agree to:
Provide accurate project information and requirements.
Respond to professionals in a timely and respectful manner.
Honor agreements made with service professionals.
Post honest and truthful reviews based on actual experiences.
Not use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
No Obligation to Hire
Submitting a project request does not obligate you to hire any professional. You are free to accept or decline quotes, and choose the professional that best fits your needs.
Direct Relationships with Service Professionals
When you engage a service professional through Trunetto, you are entering into a direct contractual relationship with that professional. Trunetto is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the services performed by any professional, or for any acts or omissions of any professional. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence on any professional you choose to engage.
5. For Service Businesses (Installers)
Business Verification & Claiming
To maintain platform quality and activate your listing, businesses must:
Provide valid business registration and licensing information.
Maintain required insurance coverage.
Submit to basic verification checks (e.g., confirming business name and contact information).
Keep business information current and accurate.
Claim Your Profile: By claiming your profile, you agree to these Terms and the associated fees.
Lead Distribution
Trunetto connects you with potential customers through our lead distribution system. By joining the platform, you agree to:
Respond to leads promptly (within 24 hours recommended).
Provide accurate quotes and timelines.
Maintain professional communication standards.
Honor quotes provided to customers.
Quality Standards
All business members must:
Deliver professional, high-quality service.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain appropriate licenses and permits.
Respond professionally to customer feedback.
Resolve disputes in good faith.
Performance Monitoring
We monitor business performance through customer reviews, response rates, and completion rates. Consistently poor performance may result in account suspension or termination.
No Guarantee of Leads or Work
Trunetto does not guarantee any specific volume of leads, projects, or revenue. Your success on the Platform depends on various factors, including your responsiveness, pricing, quality of service, and market demand.
6. Payments & Fees
For Homeowners
Trunetto does not charge homeowners any fees for using the Platform. All services for homeowners are completely free.
For Businesses
Business accounts operate on our fair, transparent model:
Monthly Subscription: A recurring fee of $10 per month to maintain an active, claimed listing and access lead opportunities.
Lead Fees: Charges apply for accepted leads, ranging from $5 to $40 per lead, based on project value, quality score, and exclusivity.
Lead Exclusivity: Leads provided to you are exclusive and not sold to multiple professionals simultaneously, unless explicitly stated otherwise for specific lead types.
Payment Terms: Payments are processed through secure third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for monthly subscriptions and accepted leads. Failed payments may result in account suspension.
No Contracts: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time without penalty. Lead generation services can be paused or adjusted.
Taxes
You are responsible for all taxes associated with your use of the Platform. Prices are exclusive of applicable sales taxes, VAT, or other taxes unless otherwise stated.
7. User Content & Reviews
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you post on the Platform, including reviews, photos, project descriptions, and business information ("User Content").
License to Trunetto
By posting User Content, you grant Trunetto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform, including for marketing and advertising purposes.
Content Standards
All User Content must:
Be truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
Not infringe on others' intellectual property rights.
Not contain offensive, defamatory, or illegal material.
Not include personal information of others without consent.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Review Guidelines
When posting reviews, you must:
Base reviews on actual personal experience.
Not post fake, fraudulent, or paid reviews.
Not include competitors' names or comparisons.
Focus on the service experience, not personal attacks.
Not use reviews to threaten or extort businesses.
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse to publish any User Content that violates these Terms or our content policies, without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Trunetto or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without our express written permission.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Platform to:
Violate any local, state, federal, or international law.
Infringe on others' intellectual property rights.
Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or phishing attempts.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, SERVICES, AND TOOLS PROVIDED THEREIN ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TRUNETTO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CONTENT ON THE PLATFORM.

Trunetto disclaims all liability for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from your interactions with or services provided by any service professional.
Tools & Calculators Disclaimer
The interactive tools, calculators, and design features (e.g., Smart Home Designer PRO, Cost Calculator, Floor Planner) provided on Trunetto.com are for estimation and planning purposes only. They are based on generalized data and user inputs, and do not constitute professional advice or guaranteed outcomes. Actual costs, compatibility, and project feasibility may vary significantly. Trunetto is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on the output of these tools.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRUNETTO, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trunetto, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform, including, but not limited to, your User Content, your interactions with service professionals, and your use of any information obtained from the Platform.
13. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Arbitration Agreement
You and Trunetto agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration in Austin, Texas, before one arbitrator. The arbitration shall be administered by JAMS pursuant to its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. This clause shall not preclude parties from seeking provisional remedies in aid of arbitration from a court of appropriate jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND TRUNETTO AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.Further, unless both you and Trunetto agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Platform or contact us to request account deletion.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Platform after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Platform.
16. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trunetto regarding your use of the Platform.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
