Responsibilities: Install and configure home automation systems, including Control4, lighting, HVAC, and security systems Perform low voltage wiring, pre-wiring, and terminations Install TVs, speakers, surveillance systems, motorized shades, and networking equipment Set up and troubleshoot home networks and Wi-Fi systems Program and integrate smart home systems for seamless performance Read and execute work based on plans, schematics, and project scopes Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Provide excellent customer service and client communication
Qualifications: Required:
Experience: in low voltage, A/V, or home automation installation Basic to strong understanding of networking (IP, routers, Wi-Fi) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Preferred:

- Install, configure, and verify control4 programmer systems for residential or small-business customers.
- Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
- Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
- Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.
Requirements & fit
- Lead experience in control4 programmer, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
- Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
- Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
- Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
