As a Low Voltage Technician, you will travel to various locations and job sites and accurately install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions. This can include safes, locks of all types, access control, CCTV, remotes, and more. The ideal candidate has experience with security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and an analytical way of thinking. Responsibilities Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs Troubleshoot problems in security systems, and make repairs or replacements Install new security systems, including electronic locks, alarms, CCTVs, and more Maintain appropriate equipment, and restock vehicles and supplies as needed Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all times Qualifications Previous experience in the security industry field desired Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and listening skills Punctuality

Requirements & fit

  • Mid Level experience in low voltage technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
  • Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
  • Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
  • Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
