Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in low-voltage cabling. It is a plus if you have experience with fiber splicing, telecommunication systems, and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities - Pull and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cable for commercial clients - Troubleshoot and repair cable and internet connections - Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls Requirements - Previous experience as a cable installer - Knowledge of telecommunications systems and equipment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication skills - Reliable transportation (must have a truck or vehicle that can carry multiple cable boxes and a ladder to the job site) Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week Compensation Package: Hourly pay Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person

What you will own
- Install, configure, and verify low voltage technician systems for residential or small-business customers.
- Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
- Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
- Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.
Requirements & fit
- Mid Level experience in low voltage technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
- Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
- Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
- Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
