Position The Low Voltage Cable Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling systems in commercial construction environments. This position requires hands-on fieldwork, the ability to work at heights, and adherence to company and client safety standards. Essential Job Functions Pull, route, secure, test, and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat6, fiber, coaxial, etc.) Install and secure support structures, including cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, and pathways Work from ladders (6ft/8ft/10ft) and operate scissor and boom lifts safely Read and follow basic construction drawings and project instructions Operate hand and power tools proficiently Maintain job site safety and comply with OSHA and company safety standards Follow directions from Lead Technicians and Foreman Maintain consistent and reliable attendance Physical Demands &

Work Environment: Lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods Work at heights and on ladders and lifts Work in commercial construction environments, including unfinished buildings Exposure to dust, noise, and varying indoor/outdoor temperatures

Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable and punctual with strong communication skills Flexible schedule, including overtime as needed Must pass criminal background check and drug screening Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred: OSHA 10 Certification Bilingual (English/Spanish) Prior low-voltage or construction
