Job Title: Low Voltage Crew Lead Location: Nashville, TN Pay Rate: $30 - $35 Company Our client is a proven leader in the communications industry, offering a professional level of cabling expertise to their partners. Position Anistar is seeking experienced Low Voltage Crew Leads for a long term project to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as nurse call equipment. The ideal candidate must possess the following: Technicians MUST have
experience: working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi-mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes: pulling, placement, terminating, testing, and labeling. BICSI cert (current or past) a plus, but not needed. IDF/MDF, rack install, fiber termination and testing
experience: a plus. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Job
Responsibilities: Leading a crew of technicians on site Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment Terminating data jacks Prior hospital cabling
experience: Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks) Building out cable closets (MDF/IDFs) Read blue prints and communicate them to team members Basic scope of work includes: Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment. 5+ years’

What you will own
- Install, configure, and verify low voltage technician systems for residential or small-business customers.
- Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
- Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
- Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.
Requirements & fit
- Lead experience in low voltage technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
- Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
- Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
- Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
