Responsibilities: New installations Programming security systems to a central station Testing all the devices Training the customer Retro new wires Keep track of stock Handle daily operational issues that come up for each builder client Security/alarm systems (installing/programming/troubleshooting) CAT5 and RG6 cabling systems (installing/retrofitting/terminating/etc.) Central vacuum systems, intercom systems (M&S/OnQ) Audio and video/media (install projectors and /cut in speakers/program remotes/troubleshoot/etc.) Stays updated with new and current Audio/Video and Home Technologies Follows company policy and procedure to maintain thorough data and customer feedback while optimizing the success.
Requirements: Ability to manage multiple daily tasks Excellent verbal/written communication skills Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to climb into attics and lift moderate weight Strong focus on customer service with the ability to manage and resolve solutions to issues. Ability to balance the needs of the customer while maintaining company objectives. Ability to work independently, under pressure, and offer strong collaboration and leadership skills within team settings. Extremely organized and highly motivated.

What you will own
- Install, configure, and verify low voltage technician systems for residential or small-business customers.
- Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
- Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
- Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.
Requirements & fit
- Lead experience in low voltage technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
- Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
- Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
- Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
