Job Description Job Description Duties include: Installation, troubleshooting, repair, and termination of Cat 5e, 6, coax, and fiber optic cables. Experience with video & security systems, including running video/audio cabling, DVR system setup & troubleshooting is a major plus. Experience with running phone lines, punch down blocks, & line/extension troubleshooting is a major plus. Experience with patch panel Installation Use of test equipment and appropriate hand tools as needed during installation or repair. Updating documentation, as appropriate, for customer and other technicians. Successful candidates will have: Must have valid Driver’s license. Must Have their own personal tools; small personal drill, crimper, punch down, P-touch Labeler, wire map tester , etc. excluding Certifiers and Power Tools. Proficiency with testing equipment. Working knowledge of current cabling standards and codes. Professional appearance and demeanor. Must be a team player as our techs often work together Strong communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work on ladders. Job Type: Full-time Experience: relevant: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations Pay Frequency: Bi weekly or Twice monthly Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends (sometimes) Day shift Night shift Overtime

What you will own
- Install, configure, and verify low voltage technician systems for residential or small-business customers.
- Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
- Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
- Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.
Requirements & fit
- Mid Level experience in low voltage technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
- Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
- Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
- Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
