Job Summary The Low Voltage Project Manager is the overall manager for assigned project(s). The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including but not limited to safety, quality, management and financial performance requirements. All aspects of the assigned project(s) must be carried out as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care and customer delivery goals. Job Duties And Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge all security systems project related staff as necessary. Manage all human resource issues and provide performance ratings, promotions and pay change recommendations. Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress. Plan, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals. Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoice preparation, customer collections and periodic financial reporting. Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work. Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process. Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s). Create, develop and implement account process improvements. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Physical and Mental Requirements Self‑motivated, positive, professional and able to lead others to create and implement project process improvements. Promotes Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Proven problem‑solving, critical thinking and effective oral presentation skills. High skill level interpreting blueprints, specifications, reporting and quality requirements. Able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems. Must maintain a Company‑sponsored American Express Card. Proficient with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester and 5‑gang punch tool. Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum five (5) years verifiable experience in security systems, access control and CCTV. Prefer experience with products from Sec Bosch G Series, Bosch Ready Key Pro, Bosch Video, UTC/GE Intrusion, UTC/GE Access Control, UTC/GE CCTV, DSX, Software House, VideoIQ, EST 2 & 3 Fire, Bosch, Software House, and Fluid Mesh. Experience in customer interface as liaison between the customer and the Company. Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience. Minimum five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project). Meet Company minimum driving standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage to final completion and customer turnover. Minimum Years Of Experience 6+ years. License Required No license required. Salary USD $80,000.00 / Yr. – USD $105,000.00 / Yr.
