We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on technical experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality installations that meet industry and safety standards. What You’ll Do The Low Voltage Installer provides reliable, high-quality customer support through installation, configuration, and maintenance of a wide range of low voltage systems. You’ll ensure that systems perform at their best while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Install, set up, and configure healthcare-specific systems including nurse call, public address, resident wandering, infant abduction, CATV, and CCTV. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and verification to ensure functionality and reliability. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installations. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and inventory. Provide professional customer service and clear communication with clients and team members. Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience as a low voltage installer or in a similar role. Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting cable and low voltage systems. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, and using hand/power tools safely. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and occasional out-of-town projects. What Makes You Stand Out Experience with IP-based systems or networking fundamentals. Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Server operating systems. Familiarity with healthcare-specific systems such as nurse call. Skilled in using various test equipment (e.g., multimeters, PA testing tools). Excellent time management and organizational skills.
