Fuze HR is proud to partner with a leading technology and electrical service provider to support growth across multiple states. We are hiring an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician in Columbus. As a Low Voltage Service Technician, you will: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various cabling infrastructures Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete wall and limited conduit work Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct Conduct tests to ensure newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational. Troubleshoot issues with the cable network Job
Requirements: include: Corning Unicam termination
experience: or at a minimum, the ability to do fusion splicing and have good troubleshooting skills on fiber
Experience: in low voltage cabling, smart hands network replacement, telephony, CTV, and point-of-sale equipment is a plus Ability to consistently travel: regional travel within 2 to 4 hours radius is required daily and travel beyond 4 hours will be required occasionally and may require hotel stays Travel away from home may be necessary, typically not exceeding 1-2 weeks in duration Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus Ability to work in cramped spaces Ability to operate a boom or scissor lift and ability to work at heights Posses basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure
Experience: in conduit installation is a plus Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years Job Schedule Availability

- Install, configure, and verify network technician systems for residential or small-business customers.
- Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
- Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
- Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.
Requirements & fit
- Lead experience in network technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
- Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
- Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
- Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
