Job Description Job Description Avante Technologies is hiring for an experienced low voltage technician. We install most low voltage technologies besides alarms. We do cameras, access control, structured cabling, fiber optics, data, PA systems etc... Please apply if you fit the description below: Experience with low voltage work Has own tools Familiar with low voltage terminology Willing to learn Works well with others Reliable, prompt Can pass a background check (we do government work) Familiar with cat6 cable pulling and terminations Familiar with mounting devices such as cameras, TVs, WAPs Willing to travel when needed (most work is in LA County, but we do travel within CA) Access control door hardware install experience is a plus Programming knowledge of access control, cameras, networks is a plus Company Description Avante Technologies is an established CCTV, access control, cabling and low voltage cabling company in Los Angeles. What you will own

  • Install, configure, and verify network technician systems for residential or small-business customers.
  • Complete clean site walkthroughs, document work performed, and confirm customer handoff requirements.
  • Troubleshoot device, wiring, app, network, and integration issues using a repeatable field process.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, support, and operations teams so jobs move from scheduled to completed without surprises.

Requirements & fit

  • Mid Level experience in network technician, field service, smart-home installation, low-voltage work, or customer-facing technical support.
  • Comfort reading install notes, diagnosing field conditions, and communicating clearly with customers.
  • Licensing or manufacturer certifications may be requested depending on market and job scope.
  • Reliable communication, schedule discipline, and a professional installation standard are expected.
