If the wall color is not white, the reflected light will have a color cast. You can compensate by adjusting the color temperature of the bars slightly — warm walls look better with cooler light settings. If one bar creates a hot spot (bright circle on the wall), angle it slightly outward. The goal is an even glow that extends 6-12 inches from each edge of the monitor.
