The WaterGuru app shows stale readings that have not updated in hours or days, or the SENSE device shows as offline in the app. WaterGuru SENSE installs inside the skimmer basket and tests water only when the pump is running, transmitting results over WiFi to the WaterGuru cloud. If the pump schedule does not overlap with the SENSE testing window, or WiFi signal at the skimmer is weak, readings stop updating.

Your WaterGuru SENSE skimmer-mounted pool monitor has stopped reporting free chlorine or pH readings in the app. The app either shows dashes instead of values, shows a "No Reading" error, or the readings haven't updated in over 24 hours. The WaterGuru SENSE sits inside your pool's skimmer basket and uses replaceable test cassettes that hold pre-measured reagent tablets. Each cassette performs about 40 tests (roughly one month of daily readings). When the cassette runs out, readings stop until you insert a new one. The monitor also needs consistent water flow through the skimmer to pull samples into the test chamber.
