Kangaroo motion sensors typically only arm when the system is in Away mode. In Home mode, motion sensors are disabled so you can walk around your house without triggering the alarm. Check the Kangaroo app — if the system shows 'Home' mode, motion sensors are deliberately inactive. Switch to Away mode to activate motion sensors. The transition happens immediately after the exit delay expires.
Verify the sensor is online
In the Kangaroo app, go to Devices and check the motion sensor status. If it shows 'Offline' or has a warning icon: the sensor has lost connection to the hub.
