Why Won't My YoLink Sensor Connect to the Hub?

Device: YoLink Sensor (Door Sensor, Motion Sensor, Leak Detector)

Your YoLink sensor is not connecting to your YoLink Hub. In the YoLink app the sensor shows as offline, unreachable, or simply does not appear. YoLink sensors use LoRa sub-GHz wireless (915MHz in North America) — not WiFi, Zigbee, or Z-Wave. They communicate exclusively with the YoLink Hub, which connects to your router via ethernet. If the hub loses its internet connection, every sensor attached to it will show offline regardless of battery status. Most connection failures trace back to the hub being offline, a depleted battery, or a lost pairing link.

Device: YoLink Outdoor Temperature Sensor (YS8003-UC, Outdoor Temp & Humidity Sensor, LoRa)

Your YoLink outdoor temperature sensor shows readings much higher than the actual air temperature during sunny days. The sensor may read 100°F when the actual temperature is only 80°F. Readings are accurate at night or on cloudy days but spike unrealistically when the sun hits the sensor.
