Why Won't My Arlo SmartHub Reconnect to the App After Factory Reset?

Device: Arlo SmartHub (Arlo SmartHub VMB4540, VMB5000)

After performing a factory reset on your Arlo SmartHub it will not reconnect to the Arlo app or complete the re-setup process. The hub shows online in router devices but the Arlo app cannot find it during setup or shows it as unregistered. After a factory reset the SmartHub must be re-added to your Arlo account through the full setup wizard and all cameras must be re-paired with the hub.

Why Won't My Arlo Base Station Sync with My Cameras?

Device: Arlo Base Station (SmartHub, VMB4000, VMB5000)

Why Did All My Arlo Cameras Go Offline After the SmartHub VMB5000 Firmware Update?

Device: Arlo SmartHub (Arlo SmartHub VMB5000, Arlo SmartHub VMB4540, Arlo Base Station VMB4500)

After your Arlo SmartHub received an automatic firmware update all connected Arlo cameras show offline in the Arlo Secure app even though the SmartHub itself appears connected. The SmartHub LED is solid green indicating internet connectivity but every Ultra, Pro, or Essential camera paired to it shows the offline icon. Live view fails on all cameras simultaneously. This is a known issue where the SmartHub firmware update resets the local radio pairing table causing it to lose communication with all previously synced cameras at once.
