Installation Steps
Power On the Hub
Plug your SwitchBot Hub into a power outlet using the provided USB cable and power adapter. The device will power on, and an indicator light will typically start blinking, showing that it is ready to be configured and connected to your network.
Add Hub in SwitchBot App
Open the SwitchBot app on your smartphone. Tap the '+' icon to add a new device and select your Hub model (Hub 2 or Hub Mini) from the list. The app will then guide you through the process of connecting the Hub to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
Connect Your SwitchBot Devices
Once the Hub is online, you can link your existing SwitchBot devices (like the Curtain or Bot) to it. In the settings for each device within the app, enable 'Cloud Service'. This allows the Hub to control them, enabling remote access and voice assistant integration.
Set Up IR and Matter
Use the 'Smart Learning' feature to have the Hub learn the IR signals from your TV or air conditioner remotes. If you have a Matter-enabled Hub, you can also enable Matter integration in the settings to connect your SwitchBot ecosystem to Apple Home, Google Home, or Alexa.
