The August app logs every lock and unlock event with the name of the person who triggered it. Go to your lock's Activity Feed to see who accessed the lock and when. Each guest action is tagged with their name. If you have the August WiFi Bridge or WiFi Smart Lock, you receive push notifications in real time when a guest locks or unlocks. This is useful for confirming that a cleaner arrived and left on schedule.
Manage and revoke access
Review all active guests in the August app under Guest Access. Remove anyone who no longer needs access by tapping their name and selecting Revoke. For the keypad, delete expired or unused codes under Keypad > Access Codes. Periodically review the guest list — former roommates, ex-partners, and old service providers should be removed promptly. Revoking access is immediate and cannot be undone without a new invitation.
