- A fully charged battery for wireless setup

Installation Steps
Check Compatibility and Charge
Before starting, use the Google Home app to check if your existing doorbell system is compatible. For the battery version, fully charge the doorbell using the included USB cable. For the wired version, ensure your transformer meets the 16-24VAC power requirement.

Open the Google Home app and tap the '+' icon to add a new device. Scan the QR code on your Nest Doorbell and follow the in-app instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. The app will provide a custom wiring guide if you are installing it wired.
Install the Chime Puck (Wired)
If you are installing the wired version, you must install the included chime puck. Turn off power at the breaker, remove the cover from your indoor chime box, and connect the chime puck's wires to the terminals as directed by the Google Home app's instructions.
Mount the Doorbell
Turn off power at the breaker. Remove your old doorbell. Attach the Nest Doorbell base plate to the wall, connecting the wires if applicable. Use the 20° wedge if you need to angle the camera. Attach the Nest Doorbell to the base plate until it clicks into place.
