Installation Steps
Begin in the Wyze App
In the Wyze app, tap the '+' icon, then 'Add Device' > 'Home' > 'Wyze Lock Bolt'. The app has a detailed, interactive installation guide. If you have already physically installed the lock, you can tap 'Skip Installation Guide' to proceed directly to pairing.
Enter Pairing Mode
On the interior component of the lock, remove the battery cover. Press and hold the pairing button (the round 'P' icon) until you hear three beeps and the keypad flashes white. This indicates the lock is in pairing mode and ready to connect to your phone.
Connect and Name the Lock
The Wyze app will search for and connect to your Wyze Lock Bolt via Bluetooth. Once connected, you will be prompted to give your lock a unique name. This helps you identify it in the app if you have multiple Wyze devices in your home.
Set Up Access Methods
The app will prompt you to create a 4-8 digit access code for the keypad. Afterward, you can set up fingerprint unlock. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your fingerprint multiple times at different angles until the process is complete (8/8 scans).
