The robot now builds a new map from scratch on every run, erasing any zones you had set up. Map loss has three main causes: a firmware update that reset stored map data without warning, a power interruption mid-clean that corrupted the active map file, or the robot reaching its storage limit of 3 to 5 maps, which prevents new maps from saving. Dreame does not sync maps to the cloud automatically, so once a local map is lost, it cannot be recovered — only rebuilt. The fix is to clear space, rebuild the map, and set up your zones again.
